Miniature Workshop - Brass Candelabra

3-Day Workshop

July 3-5, 2026

@ 5:30-9:30pm

In this intermediate class, students will make miniature objects and/or furniture at 1:12 scale (1ft in life = 1in in miniature). For this class, the project will be a brass table or floor candelabra measuring approximately 1-5” tall. Techniques covered will include scaling designs, sawing, filing, soldering, and polishing. Students may copy the demo-miniature or they can interpret their own design!

  • $210 + $10 lab fee

  • Prerequesite: 1 session of 1st-Time Metals or Metals 1 at Lillstreet Art Center
